We worked with DJ Matt Perez for our wedding and couldn't be happier! Matt helped us record a custom duet of a song I "composed" in third grade that my wife walked down the aisle to. We had so much fun working with Matt and the finishing touches he put made her trip down the aisle so special! In addition he helped us get a custom cut of our first dance song to get everything exactly as we wanted!

For the reception he matched the energy of the crowd perfectly and transitioned from one hit to the next without awkward pauses at all! We received compliments from people all night about the variety of music being great for everyone while also just fitting us perfectly.

Not only was the music great, but Matt was just genuine and happy to work with us the whole time! He looked like he was having so much fun behind the DJ booth and that energy was conveyed to the crowd. The excitement durinf our last send off song is something I will remember for the rest of my life, and I have DJ Matt to thank for that!

We booked Matt as our wedding DJ and he exceeded all expectations. Our guests were on the dance floor all night because each song was better than the next. Matt was so attentive and detail oriented throughout the wedding, he even played a song mentioned in one of the speeches for our second look entrance to tie everything together. We had so many guests come up to us and tell us Matt was the best wedding DJ they have ever experienced. If you need one reason to work with DJ Matt Perez and Main Event, here it is: One couple came up to us at our photobooth to ask where we found Matt, and how far we thought he was willing to travel. Within a week, they had an introduction meeting, booked him, and we’ll be seeing Matt again next September in CT! Working with Matt and the Main Event team was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made! Matt is a great communicator, and was receptive and responsive to any ideas we brought up. Our virtual meeting before the big day was thorough, helpful, and gave us the confidence that our wedding would be even better than we could imagine it to be. When our wedding day arrived, Matt and his team made everything come to life beautifully! He went above and beyond to confirm the schedule with both us and the other vendors, making sure everything happened just how WE wanted. Between the music and our photobooth, the Main Event staff were professional, personable, and interactive with our guests, but made it very clear ahead of time that our vision for the evening was the first priority. Hire Matt as your DJ immediately! He was AMAZING for our wedding this past weekend.  The music was one of my biggest priorities when planning, and he went way above our expectations. People were praising the music during and after our wedding and it truly was top tier.
